Sand Beach is the easy coastal reset. Not complicated, and that's the point. A quiet stretch with views out toward the islands, and if the sky is clear near sunset, one of the better low-effort ways to end a Deer Isle day. You won't find Acadia crowds here.

Treat this as an evening stop, not a mid-day checklist item. The sunset angle here is similar to Bass Harbor Head Light — same side of the bay, same golden hour.
